No Video!

I have heard that if you have no video display that this may be a software problem. Does anyone know if this is true and how to fix it? Thanks.

Or.. I think I had this problem recently also. At my house I have my ps3 set up for component cables, then I went over to a friend's house and tried to use the AV cables. After I left I realized that my PS3 was still set for component and might not of recognized it or something. :/

Yep, That would do it !!
Also make sure you have your TV set to the correct setting.

I am assuming that you are talking about image from the player to the TV from the game disk.

Restarting is the only answer I know of other than these two things.

This is what a PS3 tech guy told me to do when I was getting my router set up.

-Turn off you PS3 for a min (switch in the back).
-After a minute, turn the switch
-When you're turning it on with the actual button, hold it until you hear TWO beeps.
-After the second beep you can release it.

After I did this I had to redo my video settings because everything was massive like it wasn't in 1080i.
