Extremely Annoying PS3 Problem - Already

Well I am extremely annoyed right now, I tried to post on playstation's official forums, but I would get a error page when I tried to make a thread! Anyway, I'm sending it back, I'll explain the problem and why I need to ask some questions. I got in on Christmas. It worked great, loved it, played it on HD. Anyways.

About 3 weeks later textures started to look less amazing.. I thought maybe I was imagioning it or something. Another week goes by and textures look awful and edges on most things in the game are running. That is very annoying when your trying to play a game and when you move towards something its edges are running back and fourth, also some edges are just plain jagged (mainly small things like power lines). I called Sony for help, they assured me it was my HDMI cord. I return my cord, same problem. I buy a whole new freaking TV. Same problems.

Another problem, which has to do with my question, is in games there will be lines down the middle of walls, floors, and ceilings, and corners of rooms, that don't look right, like its sectioning the 2 sides off. Now I don't know if that is just something technology hasn't fixed yet or not, I ask because I need to put whats wrong with my playstation 3 on my Return note to Sony. Thanks for any help.

Why would you go and buy a whole new tv for mate, Anyway. It sounds like a connection problem or maybe you havent set up your settings right. More so the connection problem. Is this happening in all games or just one? What game are you finding these problems in?.

And as for what to write on your return slip. Put down what you said in your post, but keep it short and straight to the point.

it does sound like a connection problem, maybe the hdmi port on the ps3 isnt working properly or the setting arent right

if you've replaced the cord and tv then it obviously something in the ps3 screwed up

Thanks guys. Theres no way it could have anything to do with my Electrical connections or anything is there? Cause I'd hate to send it there for them to say nothings wrong with it haha... But yeah it worked great for 2 or 3 weeks..

I'm seeing this problems in Resistance (worst for textures and lines up walls and jagged edges)
Uncharted: Drakes Fortunes(Moving jagged edges, bad textures, clear lines in some corners)
Assassin's Creed(Jagged Lines, Moving lines, bad textures, clear lines in corners)

have you tried hooking it up through the provided rca cord/jack? that would help narrow it down to a total console problem, or just a problem with your HD outputs
