(A) Look for something like "USB Device" in the Music, Video, or Picture tabs. When you first connect the iPod, there should be a little popup on the top right of the screen that says USB Device connected or something.

(B) Currently, you can't play games while listening to music. You can surf the web and probably do other smaller tasks, however. I don't have any solid proof at the moment, but I've read on numerous forums that Sony hinted at releasing a patch to allow for this in the near future.

I think you have to have it so you ipod is sync.

Are the songs on your ipod from the itunes store or are they stuff you put on there yourself (form cd's, or music you got off some sharware site) If they are song bought from the itunes store they wont work.

Its when your ipod is sync with itunes. You have to disable it i think. Its not that its a i touch its just that apple makes it hard for there products to be used with other things.

^^^Yeah he may be right. You have to set your iPod so that when you plug it into your computer, it comes up as a something like "Removable Hard Drive ( F: )." I think iPods are normally set so you can only transfer files via iTunes.
