The screen size helps for things like, being able to see an enemy hiding or something like that. But it doesn't matter what size you get (HD or not) if you don't have an HDMI cable. Try to get a TV with 1080i, or 1080p, for best resolution. When you buy the cable, try to get one that says 1080+. That little (+) sign means that it will handle the 1080 for now, but also has the capability to go beyond. Which of course is non-existent right now. This type of cable usually cost a little more, but also may come with a free Bluray movie offer as well. So the price is pretty much the same if you include buying a movie. As far as what size tv, depends on the size of your bedroom. 32" is fair for an average bedroom. But bigger is always more impressive. But you don't want a big beacon of light pouring into your room everytime the thing is on ya know? Congrats on your future purchase. When you get up and running, add me to your friends if you want.
