Audio for Condemmed and Heavenly Sword Doesnt Work

when the ps3 is turned on and i am in the game menu, the audio works for heavenly sword and condemmed 2, but when i go to play it, the sound doesnt work. i an hooked up to my surround sound with the optical connection. all othere games work great..... please help me trouble shoot this problem.... its so damm frustrating
