Gears. overrated??
has anyone played gears of war? What a stupid qusetion. Over 3 million have bought it, so even more have played it. It is a good game no doubt with great graphics but isnt it just a tad bit overrated? The multiplyaer is ok but i mean with one console u can only play 1 on 1. that sucks ass. I realize it has gone triple platinum already so alot of people like it but i think that resistance, gameplay wise tops gears. The graphics are no competion that gears tkaes the cake, eats it and then regergatates it and shoves it down resistance's throught but remember resistance is a launch game and graphics will get better over time. 360 is always a touchy subject for me and i think its great but dont you think gears is overrated??

gears has great graphics but it seems very linear and not as much freedom as i would like. they can make it look great because your on more of a set path.

yah i like your thinking. Ive played through gears and it is very short. Ill tell u if that game didnt look that good it wouldnt be that great. Its nothing rather new either.

im hoping to get a ps3 in a couple weeks. i cant wait to play some resistance and motorstorm when it comes out. resistance looks very intersting to me.

i personally own resistance and its amazing. that being said its graphics arnt as amazing as some 360 titles, probably because its a launch title. Resistance is amazing and the multiplyaer is good too and i also am wetting myself over motorstorm

Yeah Gears is definitely overrated. True it has nice graphics, but some reviews have stated that it's just too short. I don't know how much games cost in the US but here in the UK an average 360 game costs around £50 and if I'm paying that sort of money for a game I want to feel I've got my money's worth from it. Also, games reviewers giving it a perfect 10 score, I'm sorry but given the length of it, no matter how good it might be, it's just not worthy of a perfect score.
