I have a 60gb PS3 and I live in Bangkok. I have access to a huge assortment of pirated PS2 games. However, nothing happens once the disc has been inserted into my PS3 unit. No new options or otherwise.

I have since downloaded games and burned them. Yet still, no playability.

I have been able to play authentic PS2 disc.

I must be doing something wrong! Please help!!

i don't believe the ps3 plays 'pirated' games. you needed a mod chip to do it on the ps2.......assume the same for ps3

lol don't get pirated games, there all glitched up, and half of then don't work

The new PS's are Blue Ray. Does that make a difference ?

I agree with Randymack. I'm pretty sure you would have to mod it to make it play pirated discs.

I also agree with Deadly Bullet. Stay away from fouled up pirated games. Waste of money. Not to mention ILLEGAL.

u need a chip in your ps3 but the have not able to make one yet and i dont think they will
