InFamous Release Date Moved UP, Not BACK!

Can't say that you see this one happen too often... and it couldn't have happened to a nicer game! InFamous got its release date moved from June 9th up to May 26th in the U.S. - I'm not sure if this'll carry over to the rest of the world, but it's still pretty darn good! They also confirmed a demo release date - May 21st!

This was already one of my most-anticipated games for the summer months - sweet to know I'll be able to get my hands on it even earlier now! (And even earlier than that, I guess - some stores are offering early access to the demo as a pre-order gift!)

Lots of new pics and gameplay discussion, and the final score? 9/10 - they're saying it's a lot like Uncharted (fitting, since they're giving out the Uncharted 2 multiplayer beta codes to the first people to buy the game on May 26th).

finally something comes early

I know, right? How often does THAT ever happen? Better yet, I got the early demo access code with my preorder (got it from Best Buy), and I've got the demo downloading RIGHT NOW!!! Still waiting for it to go, but... soon, my wait will be over!

Unfortunately, lots of waiting left for other people, though - if you didn't preorder from Best Buy or Game Crazy and get one of the early access codes, you have to wait until May 21st apparently before the demo goes live without a code.

So I played the demo, and...? One word - AWESOME. The BEST demo I've ever played, truly. It's fast, it's fun, and it's extremely addictive - I'm playing through it for the third time tonight, and it's like an hour or so long!

It reminds me a lot of Uncharted, but with super powers. Kind of like a mix between Uncharted, GTA and Spider-Man 2, but only the best parts of each - this game is going to be one of the best of the year for the PS3, I guarantee it.
