Amazon.co.uk PS3 Preorders Tomorrow!
As anyone who tried to get a Wii from Amazon.co.uk will know, they only allow preorders for their limited allocation.

Its completely first come first preordered but the best thing is if you're successful then you're guaranteed a console come launch.

The preorders from Amazon.co.uk start tomorrow between 9am - 5pm GMT priced at £424.99 for the console - bear in mind when i bought a Wii i was refreshing the damn page for roughly 40mins but to be on the safe side make a start around 9ish

You're only allowed 1 per customer but make sure to select first class to make sure they ship it for launch.

*Tip* Go into your Amazon options now and select '1-click buying' - oh and make sure you login in first prior to all the refreshing!

Good stuff!!
Amazon are doing some good offers. I got my PS3 preordered on Play and it's been confirmed. The only one advantage that Amazon have over Play is that they do a more varied choice, either the console on its own or as part of a bundle whereas Play have only the one option (consold and 3 games, but now with free HDMI cable for £525)

I just checked Amazon myself out of interest and found the same problem as thegeth. All it says it Limited Availability and gives you no option to pre-order, although it does say that it should be available to pre-order from today. Strange that, have they really sold their allocation out already??
I've noticed Littlewoods are still taking pre-orders, mind you I'm not surprised, their prices are extortionate!!

none have become available, i asked my gilfriend to go on a 9am to pre-order me one when i was at work and it was the same then.

According to Play.com once their initial allocation bundle is sold out they will remove it from sale. I just checked on there and they're still selling which must mean they haven't sold out yet...and it's a very good bundle, check my earlier posts to see what price it is if you haven't already. If you do decide to pre-order on Play, I recommend calling them first to see if they definitely are still taking pre-orders.
