PS3 ad campaign to start October 1st?
According to blog site QJ.net Sony are launching their Playstation 3 marketing capaign on October 1st.

Sony plan to start with 4 new billboards in the New York area.

This information is apparently from an 'intentionally unnamed source' and therefore should be taken with a pinch of salt at this time.

The billboard images however, are in-keeping with the ads that followed Sony's E3 conference earlier in the year, so it does seem plausable.

Guess we need to wait til October and see.

I would guess that we should soon be seeing the adverts at sporting events (in Europe in particular) in due course?

I think Sony like Champions League football, as they seem to spend a lot of money advertising on the boards around the pitch.

It may be more beneficial to watch a game of American Football if it is being launched in New York? I think they still show the games on channel 4? Mind I must admit to having a huge dose of scepticism as I would have thought that they would be advertising their impending advertising campaign if you see what I mean!
