Just read a very interesting rumour suggesting Sony have plans to release an emulator for the PS3 allowing PS and PS2 titles to run in 1080i/720p.

This could be potentially great news for the PS3 and could sway many people who are currently 'on the fence' regarding the console.

So, if they're supposed to be upscaled, I take it that means that the games would be graphically enhanced. That sounds a cool feature and I'm wondering if this would cause any graphical glitches to remove themselves. (e.g. in Tomb Raider).
