Have you ever owned any other brand of Console?
Personally I have only ever used Playstation Consoles, but a lot of my friends have either owned or played other brands of Game Consoles.

I thought it would be interesting to hear other peoples experiences and comments.

Why did you choose the Playstation?

What other brands of Console have you tried?

What were your experiences?

Had a 64 and it was very dodgy. Had a very difficult time getting the hang of the games and only a few captured my intrest. Mum got a deal with her new phone which enabled you to get either and XBOX or a PS2. original i wanted XBOX (sad isn't it) but when i got my PS2 i was very, very happy. Acecombat 4 was my first game and it ROCKED!!!

Any details on the Aussie Acecombat Zero release date, the boy's over in Japan and America already have it.

I have a xbox 360 and it's alright but I rather go with sony because I have been able to depend on sony unlike microsoft they had gotten my hopes up very high with the 360 and when I finally got one it wasn't what I expected i was let down by the launch lineup and the price of xbox live which was like anywhere from $50 to $100

Had the original NES... I also had either an Atari or Commodore 64, don't remember which.

Got the PS1 when Tomb Raider 2 came out (my former roomies and I had previously rented the original).

My gf got me a PS2 when Soul Reaver 2 came out, along with Silent Hill 2.
