PS3 marketing campaign five time that of the PS2
According to business website Bloomberg, Sony are planning to launch a huge marketing campaign showcasing demo kiosks in as many as five times more stores than the previous PS3 console.

Sony, the world's largest maker of video-game consoles, will spend $30 million to put PS3 in 15,000 U.S. and Canadian store kiosks during the holiday season, said Jack Tretton, co- chief operating officer at Sony Computer Entertainment America. The 2000 introduction of PlayStation 2, which dominated the last generation of game consoles, used 3,000 demo booths.
Cant they just scrap the demo kiosks and add them to the shipments for release

Well of course they are going to do that, this is the most powerful game console in history. They're not going to sit back and watch. I can't wait for the demos come instore in Aust.

Without the kiosks, people will not be able to play it before buying it, letting them consider a XBOX 360 as an alternative. Of course, WE won't be hesitating!

Exactly we need to people to experince the godlike power of the ps3 or else they might surrender themselves to the 360 this can not happen!
