Heavenly Sword looks like the next Drakengard, although with a little mix of God Of War. You can slice through your enimies in a massive world and kill them in very interesting ways. I guess you could also compare it to Dynasty Warriors or Ninety-Nine Nights. But anyways, you take the role of an amazingly strong heroine, who can massacre even the strongest and most numerous of armies without chipping a nail. It does have many new elements introduced to this type of game, and will probably handle something like GoW.

It is set to realease June 1, 2007 in the US.

You get a small look at HS in one of the latest episodes of Heroes (NBC series).

Both the games you compare it to sucks and that's a shame, because I think Heavenly Swords will do better!

I love how heavenly sword looks... In my opinion, I would compare it more to God of War than anything... Since it has those button activated action sequences.

I have been interested in Heavenly Sword ever since it was first announced!

If that release date of June 1st is true, then I only hope that the European release date wont be much long after...

...but, seeing that the PS3 is region free, I could just by it online
