ps3 downlodable games ??????
hi y are the games on the ps3 so cheap to download
about (£8.99)
when if you go and buy them from a shop they are like £45.00 - £50.00
is the downloadable game the real thing and can you do every thing you can if you brought the disk
im confused wont the lose mony sellin the game fr £8.99 ????????

You get what you paid for. The downloadable games are typically small and simple games, and cannot be compared to the powerhouse Blu-ray disc based games you buy at the store.

Actually, it's cheaper and efficient since developers won't need to deal with printing the game, packaging, distribution, pay retailers for shelf space and stuff like that. |

They are full games and there are demos. Demos are free, but complete games are the ones that cost money.

The games available are quite cheap, but it says that the price is an 'intraductory offer until 23/05/2007'
This must mean that the price of said games will go up in price by the 23rd May.
Currently, these are the games available (On EU Store anyway)
fl0w: £3.49
Blast Factor: £3.49 (free demo also available)
Lemmings: £3.49 (free starter pack containing 5 levels also available)
GripShift: £4.99
Tekken 5: £6.99
Free Demo's: Ridge Racer 7, MotorStorm, Resistance: Fall of Man, F1 Championship, Genji: Days of the Blade.
There is also GT (HD) Concept available for free.

So What is the average size of the downloadable games? just a have a sucky 2Gig download limit to my connection

^I think GT Concept is about 628MB something like that.
fl0w, one of the simpler games, is only 128MB.
It all depends on what you buy.

Tekken was under 600mb, but yeah, the full PS3 demos were at the very least around 250mb for the likes of the Lemmings Starter Pack, though Blast Factor demo was just over 100mb.
F1 and GT Concept were both around the 700 mark I think, hence why I upped my download limit from 10gig to 60gig 
It says on the store details what size each file is I think anyways.
