Tomb Raider: Anniversary

Hi,

Slightly off topic with this mainly being a PS3 site. But I came across this article and its looks and sounds impressive and I have been a fan since the good ole PS1 days.

http://uk.ps2.ign.com/articles/777/777243p1.html

I do hope this doesnt suffer any problems on the PS3. Would love to play this as I no longer have a PS2.

What do you guys think.

Wiggo

All recent tomb raiders are rubbish, it's best to buy a PS1 and play the old version's...those were much better.

i'll give it a go, hire it out and then judge. Looks good from here. Things do get better. Nothing worse than buying a game and then having to take it back because it dosn't meet your requirements. Thats one thing i would never do. The review sounds good. Grassy

it was more than what you could have done in previous tomb raiders... all the previous ones were hold backflip and shoot at the same time...

in this newest one you could do loadsa different acrobatic moves on your enemy to kill them e.g. kick off the guy, do a backflip while shooting him at the same time... this was all in slow mo so it looked well cool

Quite right, the fighting system in the last one was far better than previous versions. Just look when you are on the motorbike, are you saying when on that you just point and shoot, I FEAR NOT.

GIve it a chance before you have played it, negativity is pointless.

I have played it........the last one that was released anyway.........just because you can shoot while riding a bike doesn't mean the game has a great fighting system....just because you can backflip then shoot some guys isn't fighting....a fighting system is what FIGHTING games have........=]

final fantasy had a whole new fighting system but its not a fighting game? does that mean its not a fighting system?.... you talk bollocks

a fighting system is a section in a game where you can fight enemies, hence 'fight'ing system...

take note-
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/fight

the newest tomb raider had a better fighting system than the previous ones because of these extra abilities/moves.

point made.
