Sony didn't win anything. They lost their suit, but they've patched things up with Immersion by paying for licensing and royalties. Also, Sony has yet to bring about any additional rumble to the PS3. They have started by putting back rumble for GTHD, but it probably won't be a while until they get Sixshock.

Sure this is good that rumble is back but what about all the controllers without it that people own, I already have 2 controllers, think sony will do anything about the old ones? (for example have the people send them in and sony sends them 2 with rumble then sony can always put rumble in those ones or use the parts in them)
I don't know though, having rumble would be nice but I don't want to pay more money on a controller when I can buy a game for about the same price. Tell me what you guys think about this idea.

Sony is going to be a bitch and make people buy new controllers.

I didn't really notice it missing but would be nice to have it back. Also, would be nice if Sony would just replace 1 controller per consumer (e.g. the one that came with the system).

I doubt sony will replace a controller, if it was their fault then maybe , but they honest to god couldnt put the rumble feature in at launch (though their reason was a big fat lie). but just saying if they did replace them i would be very impressed, but in the end i'm not bothered i have to buy one

I made a point of buying an extra official controller when I got the console so I could do co-op mode on FOM straight out the box. Didn't regret that, but may be tempted to do an early trade in on the 2nd controller I have to get a higher amount back on it.

Remember what happened with the original Dual Shock...does anyone remember the analogue controllers that preceded them...nope. Therefore, values for the plain PS3 controllers will go through the floor when the rumble version comes out and becomes established. I'm guessing though that the rumble version will cost more than the standard pad and that costs £35, so could we be looking at a PS controller going over the £40 mark?

That said, since you can have up to 7 controllers, would it hurt that much if only 2 or even just 1 didn't have the rumble feedback? I wouldn't be that bothered as IMO, it doesn't affect the way you interact with the console that much.
