for **** sake.....point is!??.....
if the graphics are far superior then why doesnt the release games have better graphics than the PS3 release games!?..
wait til 2 years for the PS3 and we'll soon see....

Because 2 years ago when the 360 was released, graphics coding techniques weren't as sophisticated/developed as they were now and even then, It's debatable as to which of the screenshots had better graphics. At least the quake one had some ****ing colour.
Simple fact is, 360, right now, has better graphics than PS3 so how can any PS3 fanboy take the piss out of the 360s graphics? |

look.........ok don't look but 2 years ago when the 360 had been produced, the graphics cards were good. but now, it's two years old...the PS3 has a better graphics card............soooo thats obviously gotta mean the PS3 WILL HAVE BETTER GRAPHICS THAN THE 360....=S
mege your the fanboy here..crackdowns graphics suck, gow is just eye candy and if they made the game longer the graphics wouldn't have been so good. dead rising is just the same as 99nights or whatever that shit game is called, but with zombies instead...
ya know.....do you think gow is a better GAME than resistance, or would you rather just look at the screen and go..''oooooh shiney water effects!''

Well since I was the one that started this thread you are calling me a desperate fanboy. However you are missing the point entirely. I didn't create this to take the piss out of anything. It was merely a bit of fun, and most people have accepted it as such, with the exception of you (now there's a surprise). Mate you're too serious for your own good. Not even close to being true sorry. The 360 is an improved ATi Radeon X1900 basically as those cards had just come on the market when the 360 did. It is actually a new core altogether but is somewhere between the X1900 and X2900. The X1900 R520 core is still the best DX9 card on the market today and when you take into account that the 360 has an improved version... The PS3 on the other hand has a bog standard GeForce 7800 which is an inferior card to even the standard X1900. The 360 also has a handy extra 10mb of VRAM set aside for the sole purpose of allowing ALL 360 games to use AA without taking a performance hit.

Evidently you don't own it. Despite being cell shaded, the models are very detailed and the draw distance is quite possibly the furthest of any game ever made.

I've stated time and time again that I think Resistance is a better game, but it has nothing on Gears in terms of graphics.
