Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

War rages on in the fourth edition of Activision's acclaimed war game. For the first time in the series, Call of Duty moves away from WWII to the modern battlefield.

and thats all i could find...........ANYWHERE!

there is one video infact....

oh wait...there is this too

Players, according to the rumour, will operate as part of the S.A.S., US Marines and the US Army, with the action occurring in such locations as the Middle-East, the streets of Eastern Europe, aboard sea vessels in the North Atlantic and London.

Lending credence to this info is the fact that it was accompanied at the time by rumoured details on Call of Duty 3, which turned out to be pretty much spot on.

lol whats the US army doing in london!?

Call of Duty 4 looks to be really nice. I enjoyed Call Of Duty 2 but I haven't bought 3 yet. I'm glad to see them not doing ww2 anymore and going into modern day war. I really like that more. The trailer I saw on Ign.com was amazing.

yeah the clip was awesome, and the same as you, i got really bored with WWII games. I wonder how they will approach this, keep the same gameplay where you just run and gun your way through a bunch of enimies or will it be more tactical?

Yeah, I'm hoping more tactical. I'm getting Fear next but then I think I'm going to get call of duty 3. Right now I have fall of man and Oblivion. Which are two great great games. A lot to look forward to with the ps3 this year. Metal gear 4 and RE5 next year. It excites me. lol I'm a nerd. I hear that playstation settled in court about the rumble feature so they are bringing it back to the new controllers.

when i heard about the change to modern combat my hopes for this game dropped, however seeing the trailer just now, they have gotten higher, this game looks awesome, and by the looks of it some tactical play may come into it.i think that the change from ww2 was because of call of duty 3 getting ragged on,looked pretty an all,but ultimatly, wasnt as good as 2.but in my opinion the leader of ww2 games is brothers in arms.
