Whatever one you want. Its all personal preference, though most people on here will probably say to get the PS3 since this is a PS3 forum.

Who knows which one will win? We're not clairvoyant. Who cares? Just as long as the PS3 doesn't disappear without a trace and offers me a good catalogue of games I don't care.
As for whether to get one or not. If you're that way inclined you'll get a PS3 anyway. But if you need some convincing I would suggest you wait a while until it has an established selection of games and online content, otherwise you may be disappointed. I love my PS3 but I do wish I had waited a while instead of jumping in straight away. I have already put this in another thread, but if you don't already own a 360 I would advise against getting one too, because if the PS3 does indeed end up looking like the more attractive system if you've bought a 360 unless money is no object you probably won't be able to afford to get one. Wait until around September time when Sony unleash the big guns and then decide.

scoot is right, it doesn't really matter who wins, nobody is gonna win, its not a war, you just have to decide which system is right for you. ps3 is lacking with games and such at the moment but will hopefully explode into something much bigger in the near future, and 360 as you know is at a massive peak right now and offers a great service, in the future i think we will see ps3 rise from the current depths and maybe even see 360's peak drop slightly, time will tell

Sony will take the market simply because the 360 is so unreliable.My 360 died bought it sept 06 died may 07 and the more i read about the 360 and the poor customer support its only a matter of time before people start to switch.As soon as the bag of turd comes back repaired it WILL be traded in and i will pass to the dark side!!!!!!!!

1 Hardware specs
2 Almost every month with firmware releases
3 HOME something completely new not only for PS3 but for all the world

Man PS3 just realised and its going well.
X360 has almost 2 years and the only plus it has is wireless communicate with windows pc.

dont be so quick to condem the 360 tho, its got good online play, its a solid system (when its not blowing up on u) and it now has a built up fan base, ps3 will indeed grow and i cant wait till it does cuz i love my ps3, but it wont beat the 360 any day soon, its got a lot of ground to make up and by the time its made that ground ms may have improved the 360, its easy to predict but in this sort of a battle there is only a winner when one system goes under, and i doubt we wud see that happen to either system

Ho hum, and yet again people forget that the Wii is taking over the world as we speak. At the rate things are going neither the 360 or the PS3 will 'win'. How about that?
Wii, PS3 and 360 all offer unique gaming experiences and are attractive to different people, therefore there probably won't be any one outright winner.
The thing that really does grate the most though are constant jibes by fanboys of each system saying stuff like 'mine is better than yours' 'yours is shit' and the like. Who really cares? Take me for example. I own a PS3, that's it, no Wii, no 360, nor will I ever own any of the other systems, they don't interest me. But I'm not bothered about it winning this so-called war, I'm just bothered about it staying afloat.
PS3 fanboys listen up, the PS3 is struggling, there is no denying it, so how can you possibly say without a shadow of a doubt that the PS3 will win? Because right now it's looking extremely unlikely. Instead of wasting all your energies trashing other systems, get behind your own, enjoy it and just hope that Sony manages to turn the PS3's fortunes around. I'm loving my PS3 and I love the PlayStation brand but I'm not a fanboy in any way, I'm just feaful of the PS3 withering away and being a non-entity in this generation. If the PS3 fails now I see the end of the PlayStation brand as a whole.
