all you people out there should i get the GTA or the Def jam game .please tale my which one should i get you the ps3 ok

PLEASE TALE ME IF YOU GOT THIS GAME AND TALE ME WHICH ONE IS BETTER OK

first off gta comes out in October and so far its looks good but there isnt gameplay but there is some new info, i pre ordered it allready u should do that if ur gonna get it. now icon fight for ny was a great game but ea changed it and screwed it up , and i was planning on getting icon just like u right now, but the story is no good and the major flaw in icon is the gameplay it just isnt good the creation mode is ok thats a main reason i get fighting games for the creation mode, but the game is no good why have a good creation mode when the gameplay and story is messed up. just wait man, virtual fighter 5 is pretty good. fightnight, madden 07, motorstorm, resistance i have and all are good games.

I agree with Dave-Ex, wait until GTA IV is released, it will be a lot better than Def Jam: Icon. I've been a fan of Def Jam since the first game, but DJ: Icon isn't anywhere near as good as it could of been, they've got rid of the trademark Blazin' moves every character had, there isn't that many fighting areas and the story line isn't as good as the previous games (and you fight the same characters over and over in Story mode, and the final fight is a huuuge disapointment). Plus, the roster of rappers isn't as good as it could of been, they've missed out a lot of rappers that could of made the game a lot better.

So you should definitely wait until October to get GTA IV.

to be honest it's hard to compare

def jam is a beat 'm up game
it's like asking what game should i get...call of duty or motorstorm
it just depends on what game you like.

with all respect, i don't really like the gta series (just not my game)
so i would buy def jam (wich i did)
but to be honest again, def jam has large loading times
you have to make a label and push your songs on the market, it sounds good..but you never get to hear those songs and can't tell if they would flop or not.
the music scratching moves and all that...
well i've been playing it a while and i still don't get it..so i just press x

there better be a soccergame coming out quickly for ps3
cause i'm getting bored!

Yeah, i had trouble performing the Scratching special, but i figured it out eventually, all you have to do is press L2, then rotate the left analog stick (clockwise) to the beat, then rotate the right analog stick (clockwise) until the background song changes to your selected song and it performs a special where everything explodes. Thats the only scratching special i've managed to figure out. The most annoying problem i've had is trying to figure out how to do heavy grapples!!! I know how to perform light grapples but they don't cause much damage.

the creation mode is ok for a game that is that messed up but thats about it for icon

i agree, i've been playing def jam for a while
anoying score
some unbeatable idiots
and a very lame fighting gameplay
you don't feel like checking your ingame mail and just wanna beat up someone will always backfire on you.

i was a fan...cause DJ vendetta was really great but this game is silly

by the way, i always claimed resisance fall of men) wasn't my game
but i completed it yesterday, (i admid it was on level easy) but for someone who doesn't usualy like these games (hated call of duty and rainbow 6) it was absolutely fun. recomended!

now it's tony hawk but it's way too many buttons to pres at the same time.

I bought def jam when it came out. It is not worth the purchase. The fight controls are lame. The only good thing about it is the way the music interacts with the game and the background shakes to the beat. Visualy it is different in a good way.
