Iv got ADSL+2 mate. I played i fellow guy from australia today and it worked great. But then ohter people i play (i dont know what country there from and i get heaps of lag. When i play motorstorm or resistance i dont get lag, but games like NBA Street and Def Jam i do.

I don't think it's because of your wireless. I think it's the game itself. It does tend to stutter badly at times online and offline. It's just a bad emulation of a great game. It doesn't put me off, it's still loads of fun. |

^I dont know if its just the game mate, Because the guy a played that was from australia, we played about 25 matches straight, with out a single problem. But as soon as i went back to playing random people then it got the lag. I see you have fight night on ps3. how does that go online? As the 2 EA games i have NBA Street and Def Jam get bad lag as well.

Yeah as Marz says maybe the lag is from the other person? It does seem to be pretty random so yeah maybe it's actually the other person's connection.
As for Fight Night it does sometimes suffer from lag. I can have maybe 5 or 6 fights without even a single hint of lag, and then I can have a fight where the lag just makes the fight unplayable. Again I think it depends on who you are playing, unless EA use some pretty unstable servers. |

Well as I said MK II does suffer from some serious lag at times, looks like we're all in the same boat unfortunately.

Fortunately there is no lag when I play online. It is all to do with the connection.

Man this ****ing sucks online. Not only does it suffer from horrific lag, I always seem to get paired with lamers who just spam one move over and over again.

Ok it seems if you play your matches in private room it doesnt get the lag. So i guess only play againts you friends if you want no lag.

EDIT: Anyone spot the mistake in MK II yet? No? Ok I'll tell you then. Look at the pics of all the fighters that border the screen. See Jax in the bottom left? Notice he's got metal arms but in the game he hasn't? This is because that pic is from MK3 where Jax does indeed have metal arms. Sony I want answers

I did indeed notice that and pointed it out to my little brother.
Anyway, I don't want to be a dick and complain some more but the lamers that play this game piss me off. One of the first matches I played some guy kept spamming reptile's acid spit thing. Then yesterday a guy constantly spammed Sub Zero's freeze thing. And today...ffs today. I had one guy and I kept pwning him again and again as whatever character I played as...except Liu Kang because Liu Kang is shit. So this ****ing asswipe would move towards me, duck and then leg sweep over and over again. There is no way to defend against that. You fall down and as you're getting up you get knocked down again and so on and so on. So he would do that again and again until I was on about 10% health and then fight normally and I would still kick his ass. This went on for 5 or 6 matches. So then he played as Liu Kang and just did Liu Kangs cheap flying kick over and over and over.
I beat people fair and square. I normally play as Scorpion because he's badass and sure I use his "get over here/come here" stinger move and follow up with an uppercut for MASSIVE DAMAGE....RIIIIIIIIIDGE RACER...ahem...anyway. But if I do that more than twice in a match I feel scummy and even at two I feel like I'm pushing it.
