Best games?? Or are there any?
Hi guys
I got my PS3 last week (after selling my 360), and have Resistance and MotorStorm.
I didnt realise how lacking PS3 currently was in terms of good games! I dont want to get PS2 games since I like to play next-gen games on my next-gen console.
So what else is worthy of getting?
Ive downloaded the demo for GT HD, which isnt out for ages yet! I also tried the F1 demo, and although it looks great, I didnt really like it very much.
What are the best games currently available for the PS3?? Or whats being released over the next few weeks??

Wouldn't it have been better to have done a bit of research into PS3 and its games library before getting rid of your 360 in favour of PS3? |

Lol thats what i was thinking too scoot, these people just jumping into the PS3 world and not knowing a thing. I must admit i done it with the Wii and i totally regret it now.
oh the PS3 isn't lacking any good games, your just attracted to the big stars of the release line up and aint even tought about the other games. There is Splinter Cell DA, NBA homecourt, F.E.A.R, FNR3 & VF5. you have to open your eyes a little

I sold my 360 since I was sick of the stability issues and then MS screwed me over by banning my console from live even when it wasnt modified. I even said I would send it in fo rthem to check and they didnt bother. So I sold it.
Yes I have done my reserach into the PS3, and I know the library for it isnt great. But I bought it since I know it has some good games coming in a couple of months. My question above was aimed more at the good games around at the moment.

you sold your 360?..ok does the person or store you sold it to know it's banned from live? because thats just unfair..if they don't ofcourse.

Yes I made sure the buyer knew it could only be played offline, and that I had argued the case with MS, and gave him the reference number etc so that if he wanted to continue with the case he could. I had personally just given up.

at the moment id say you have the best game with resistance and a good game wi motorstorm,same 2 i started with
splinter cell is not too bad, fear looked good but i didnt really like it, oblivion is outstanding (I think most of the guys here would agree), cant say anythin about other games cuz i aint played em yet

I downloaded the demo for Virtua Tennis and found that pretty fun to play. I may look at buying that, but does it have any online play? I hear it doesnt?

Ridge Racer 7 is the best racer available at the moment.
Oblivion is a must have.
Marvel: UA is really good if you are into the comics, but it's just average otherwise.
If you enjoy flight games, you'll dig Blazing Angels.

Fight Night and Oblivion are great. Possibly F1 or Virtua Tennis too are both fun games.

I own a Ps3(60Gb Model Uk)with 2 controllers with Resistance, MotorStorm, Virtua Tennis and Fight Night.
Also have a Wii but prefer my Ps3
