Apparently the head of Rockstar and Harrison have confirmed that there will be new smaller islands. They apparently decided this over dinner!!!

yeah 'apparently'....

Why would you need more islands when you've got the whole of Liberty city to play with?

and how would they go about doing this?...seriously they would have to keep releasing new versions of the game =/

DLC i guess. It is a direct response to the 360s content. We'll just have to wait to see what happens. Either way it is gonna be an awesome game.

It does not say 'No DLC for PS3 only that two will be released for XBL only in 2008.
Wait a bit longer and there will be DLC for PS3 as well, they would be stupid not to.

However Sony should be kicking themselves right about, a year ago for allowing the exclusive to slip away.

it's not up to sony wether they have certain exclusives, it's up to the devs and in the case it's rockstar. They obviously feel they can make more money when they release it on both next gen systems rather than just releasing it on one console, and they are right because right now more people own a 360 than a PS3 and it's going to stay like that for a long time.

I know your right but GTA WAS PS2 for me, i lived from one release to the next.

really? i brought GTAIII after i got vice city =/ i didn't really like them much til SA..even then i got bored so quickly it was just insane. i got it on release (9am in the morning) and was bored of it a few weeks later.....hmm
