Can PS3 games purchased in Far East be played on UK Hardware?
I am sure that this must have been asked before but I have searched and found nothing.

I am visiting Malaysia and Hong Kong in the near future and have read that the prices for games are much lower than in the UK. Does anyone know, whether it is possible to play their games on UK hardware?
