Who's excited about R6 Vegas??

Any of you guys looking 4ward to this game when its released next Friday (29th June)? I have this title on the 360 and its awesome, best online game I have played yet on a console. Those of you that dont have a 360 are in for a treat if you like FPS games! Great stuff.

Never liked R6. I was remotely interested in getting this game until I have read numerous reports of it being a pretty poor port of the 360 version. Given Ubisoft is behind this it doesn't really surprise me.

Made all the more worse by this game getting amazing reviews. It is (at least on 360) a ****ing amazing game.

looking forward to the game but annoyed that it will be slightly less detailed than the 360 version - typical ubisoft. really was looking forward to the darkness until it was delayed until the 20th of july. pissed off that the blu-ray disk is so difficult to make games on. all that will change sooner or later though

Dude BR has nothing to do with it. Sony were tards for putting Cell in there. Would have been better to put in something like a Core2Duo that's still very powerful, infinitely easier to code for and then using the money saved to maybe shove in more RAM or make the 7800 GPU an 8800 GPU.

Agree 110%. Sony didn't get to where they are today by just putting any old components together and just hoping for the best. It's easy to always think you know better when looking at it from the outside. But until you get a job designing games machines for a living, please shut up mege. I think they know a lot more about this industry than you ever will.

acually the cell chip was a very good idea. fair enough having it in has proved difficult for developers at this time but it is the mos powerfull one in all the consoles (and you know it is) and sooner or later developers will know exactly how to work with it. there will be no more delays and games will be looking better and better all the time with good lengths like none of us could ever have imagined. you'll see!

Well actually they did get to where they are by putting any old components together but they didn't hope for the best, they secured franchises, created good new IPs and formed good business relationships with the better game companies like Rockstar and Squaresoft/Square-Enix. The PS1 and PS2 were underpowered garbage that a 5 year old could have thrown together. The strength of those systems was not the hardware but the games. The PS3 is completely different other than it's heavily underpowered (compared to the 360 and PC competition) graphics card. Cell is simply overkill and as it's the most expensive piece of the PS3, a waste of money. With that said, Sony obviously DON'T know more about the industry than I do, because Sony are in the third place. I also don't like being told to "shut up".

Developers know now exactly how to work with Cell it's just very difficult and it's always going to be a challenge, one that will always hold the PS3 back. It's bad enough that the graphics card is weak but having a weak processor as well was just utterly foolish. And I won't see, because it's never going to happen. PS3 is lacking power in all the places it needs for graphical superiority over the competition, and has far, far too much power in places that don't need much power.

wow...i don't think it is always going to be a challenge...they will find ways to make it easier, like in all technology....and as for your "apparent knowledge" in the ps3 and in all game systems...why don't you just go into buisness in making gaming systems because WOW we are all inferior to your vast knowledge!
