Ps3 headsets
Since the ps3 dosent come with a headset i was wondering for those of you that have one what is the best in sound and quality. Should i go with what they made for the ps2 because it's compatible or go with a bluetooth it costs more but i want great quality.

Bluetooth is good, but the battery dies very fast.
Im planning to buy a PC wireless USB (u plug a thingy to the USB and this sends and recives info to the wireless headset) i was wondering if it works on the ps3. If so it'll be like having the best of both world.
What do you all think? should it work with the ps3?

Yep, any old bluetooth headset should work. I use a motorola H 850 or something like that, it was $24.90 brand new from amazon with free super saver shipping.
edit: The battery life on it has never been a problem for me, but my gaming sessions rarely (read never) extend past the 5 hour mark.

Bombvain - Why buy one that uses up a USB port when you can just use bluetooth. Cmon.. The battery life should be decent!
And there is an Official Playstation Bluetooth Headset coming out soon.
Im not sure, but I dont think there is a set release date.

Noob here- Everytime we chat via the bluetooth I get noise/ 2-5 second lag. It does this over private or in game. I have tried both Motorola H500 and the Motorola HS 850 both do this. Is there a setting I am overlooking?
Been searching and can't find any answers. I find forums asking similar questions about best headsets but no answers or a forum that links to a problem the PS3 may have during in game chat.
Thanks!
