well in my opinion anyway,having got the ps3 with there free online play i decided to sign up for xbox live,just to compare.Now you talk to any 360 nut and they will tel you that there online service is absolutly top-notch,and cannot be beaten? BOLLOCKS having repeatedly trying to sign into xbox live im riddled with nothing but connection problems,or,once im online.constant interference so my games lag like hell. however,with the ps3 online i get fast conectivity,very rarely do the games lag,and it is a better al round comunity,the only problem i have is with my blue tooth headset not working properly with my console,dispite it has been conected properly an what not,i can talk on the lobby and ingame of motorstorm but i cant do either with RFOM i shall just get a ps3 mic instead.so,what do you lot think of the online service by either ( or both ).enjoy ('',)

love the playstation network. reckon they've done a really good job with it. i could give a shit about xbox live. as far as i'm concerned you're expected to have a good online service whn you have to pay for it. at least with ps3you get the option to go online. ith 360 if u are paying for it then you better use it otherwise just a waste of money

the only things i would love to make the psn complete for now for me is, accessing the xmb in game and being able to invite someone who has signed on into your game, or vice versa. but as it stands, for less than a year old online service it is quite top notch( especially compared to the wii's "online service")

maybe ure connection sucks and thats why the games lag

Yeah i also think they did a great job with the Psn, its very easy to use and navigate and playing motorstorm online is kick ass. And you know what it can only get better so MS we dont give a ****.

both have good and bad points

for instance, XBL has and always will have a better market place. It currently also has a better friends system and the rep system and gamerscore is awesome.PSN has better gameplay because you don't get idiot admins kicking you because you got the aircraft carrier and they wanted it on battlestations midway. Also, PSN offers more credit cards to use on PSN whereas VC and XBL only use 2 or 3 which sucks. The mic system is good on both though I have to give it to 360 with it's cheap wired mic. Works really well.
