RFOM- Hype...
Ive been playing it for a month or so now, ever since i got my ps3 60gb. Its good considering its a launch title (ha ha remember 360 launch: Perfect dark zero 
But is it that good? Its just the same thing level after level and there is nothing that makes u actually want to be bothered to complete the game. Im on the mission "Into the depth" which is the near the end of the game, and its booring.
Online is okay but again not brilliant.
Im not saying its bad, its a good average game but thats it. Its no way better than a FPS like CSS etc. So why do so many people think this game rules?

Because it does. This game is great. On-line is fantastic. To have 40+ players together at the same time makes for some awesome deathmatches. Plus it has helped increase my friends list and I have gotten to know a lot of new gamers I would never had gotten to know before now and played some great matches against them.

i totally agree with you!!! i found it same old same old and boring

I was going to get resistance today, but i think i will wait for a few more games to come. Have i made the wrong choice? because the online mode sounds amazing.

online is totally awsome really is. all story modes are similar things in fps though really.

am i the only one that still thinks the story mode if fun?? i love playing it...yeah it doesn't have tons of different types of guys but the guns and levels are fun as hell imo

This game is probably my favorite ps3 game right now, primarily for the replay value. I still haven't finished it in campaign mode, I tend to play that for a few then jump online. I've played this game a lot since launch day, IMO that makes it a good game.

story mode is really good i thought but cause ive done it on superhuman and got all skill points theres only a few levels i do now that i really like

I think its great fun....I've also done superhuman, but not nearly all the skill points....still workin on that.
Its one of the few FPS I've played over and over.....It could use some improvments like most games, but overall I thought it was well worth it espiecally the online.....graet fun....
One of my favorite levels to play is "Out Gunned". Great fun.....

i just got it 2 days ago and i really like. story mode is fun, same with the online. i just really picked it up just to have a diffent game to play online besides the darkness and i found myself playing rfom more even though i compley suck at it right now.

I Beat The Story Once, On Normal. But Now Im Addicted To Playing It Online. Especially Capture The Flag.

I'm in no way a FPS fan, but I found the game very enjoyable in the story mode.

same as PSXtreme, i used to suck at fps games so i never played em but i luv resistance, and i completed it! YAY!
