Motorstorm
 Hi,
can anyone please tell me if it is possible to use a headset on Motorstorm.
Also, what is the new (ish) symbol at the bottom right hand side of the screen when you are waiting for an online multiplayer game? Its yellow and in the shape of an upside down coat hanger (without the hook bit!) with 3 yellow semicircles to the right of it (each one larger than the one next to it).
It has been puzzling me for a while now.

Yes headsets work now. I have a sony ericsson bluetooth headset and it works great in motorstorm. As for that symbol you are talking about I have no idea what it is but, like you I've always wondered what it was for.

Motorstom online sucks!! Go Need for Speed Carbon!!
Well I never played MS but want to some time........
Is the online laggy at all cause in NFS the cars start driving up side down sometimes.....

The symbol your talking about (if I understand you correctly) is the wifi signal strength symbol. The more bars that appear yellow, the greater the signal strength.

How do you know the online sucks if you've never played it? It's very challenging and I can't say I've ever noticed any lag. It's pretty stable and really good fun with fiercely competitive and brutal races.

Scoot I was just kidding when I said MotorStorm sucked....I have not played the actual game (only demo) and have no knowledge of the online play.....I kinda wanted to make fun of NFS but I didnt do it too well.

According to what I've read online, it should always be on. I just bought one yesterday and have only managed to get it working once, and nobody else on the server had one anyway so it wasn't very useful. I tried to play a mate last night but we couldn't get either of ours to work then. If it is working it should show a little audio type symbol next to your name when you are in the lobby. It should also show your name and a symbol at the top left of screen when you say something in a race, although when I did get mine working, it just stayed there the whole time. So yeah, I'm having a few dramas too. If you search the web, you'll find that there are many others too.

If you have paired it so the PS3 recognises it then every time you turn the headset on the PS3 should automatically connect to it.

Man you've not played the full game? The online mode is not to be missed, by anyone. I suggest renting it and giving it a thorough testing. Expect to get slaughtered for the first few online races until you get used to it though. I've had it since 23rd March (UK launch) and only now am I getting used to it to a level where I'm able to consitently either win races or at least place in the top 3.
