Folklore Demo
Has anyone downloaded this demo yet. Just in the process of getting it now (From the UK Store), but its going to be an all nighter.
Is it any good?

I downloaded this demo, took 8 hours!
But, it was worth it I think. I quite enjoy this game. It's...different, but in a good way.
I like the controls, to. When you collect the souls etc.
If you haven't downloaded it, get it now! lol, thats if you live in Europe that is xD Or have a EU account. << Cheats making accounts!

Any Idea when US will get it I hear rumors we are getting home in august so i think tonights the last day it updates and r&c should be comming out soon and so will lair demos.......

^I have no idea when the US will get it, maybe after the exclusivity runs out? (exclusive demo until 31st August)
As for R&C etc, I think they will be out really soon. I mean, in the Leipzig demo I downloaded from the store, it says 'playable demos' and then shows Folklore, Heavenly Sword, Lair, R&C and Uncharted, too. So I'm sure they will be added to the EU store over the next couple weeks

US get it today. and man it took 8 hours u said?! thas ridiculous!! the longest time it took me b4 the backwards downloading update was 2 and a half for gran truismo demo. what kind of connection do u have chris??

I got it this morning. Just finished playing it. Its quite good. It will probably take sometime to get use to all the features and stuff. The visuals are great if a little cartonny.

Yea, it took forever 
Erm, I have a wireless connection, but the PS3 is in the same room as the router, and it's only small. There literally like 2 metres, if that, apart from eachother.
Online games, like motorstorm etc, run fine.

WHy so long on the dl for you guys.
the folklore demo took all of 20 minutes to download and install on my HDD
Gran Turismo took even less
The darkness i think took like 34 minutes, which is still good for 1.7 GB to download and install.
Back to the store. the R&C demo and skate are ready, and so is warhawk, all will be out next week.
Home will not be till next week at the earliest for the beta, and anytime after they may release the full to everyone. (expected release oct. 4)

same setup as me, except mine downloaded in about 25 minutes, i realised if u play a game while your downloading in bg it doesnt actually download.. lol it automatically pauses. (its 1106 megs or something btw)
not to mention i was downloading while playing dota 
game seems pretty cool esp the fighting style, defanitely something i will enjoy but i couldnt be bothered reading what all those branches and herbs things were about.
gonna get this game for sure now. |

only thing i didnt like was how you could die when your apparently already dead? maybe i read it wrong but from what i read the faery realm is where you go after you die.. unless shes not dead? and is just visiting? wasnt any storyline/cinematic before you start the game so i didnt get it :S
