which ones are ranked?? the scea sponsered ones are 2 high of ping for me so they just dont work. and to upgrade your charecter is it just based on number of kills or points or what??

It is like a blue color I hear I don't have the game yet so idk i will tell you when I do (tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

In the list of servers on the left side there is a trophy by each server name. If the trophy has a red x over it then it is a non ranked game.

yah and the player icon means u can have a friend join in on ur ps3, space permitting. the line means no splitscreen and with the cup symbol it is a ranked game where points earned go towards ur stats and rank

thanks a lot.... that really helped me out... 'cause for me and my friend it was always just kind of a gamble to see if he could join and if not we'd have to switch off on one controller...

lads how do you lck onto targets so that you can shoot rockets and stuff. please help

instead of just pressing L1... you have to hold it down...
with the swarm missles (the default weapon on every warhawk/nemisis)... you can hold it down longer and it will target the opponent multiple times and then fire up to 8 missles at one person all at once...

Tip: Try to be as close behind or even better, in front, of your opponent when you fire a swarm missle, because then they are harder to shake off...

Tip: With the long range missle (my favorite weapon)... follow someone closely as you lock on, and then fire... they are harder to shake and usually kill in one hit, if not, continue to follow them and shoot them with the machine guns....

i dont know what it is but i can never enter the blue games sponsored by scea. is it because its to high of ping? is there a logical reason?

i have no idea how the ranking system works, im a cheif sergant already and i have no idea how i got there at all

r u playing the blue highlighted games or the other ones.

the blue games are always ranked, play those and you gain points... that's how you rank up... to see how many points you have, from the 'Online' area, choose Community > Profile..... and then Rank Advancement to see all the ranks and their requirements...

oh and to answer kratoshommie's question... i'm not exactly sure why, but i have problems getting into them too... a lot of times is says the game is full, and i think that that is because the server list does not keep up too good, so when it says there is room, there isn't.... but maybe it's just our bad connection can't connect....

and now for a question of my own...: has any one had problems with the game freezing? it's happened to me 3, maybe 4, times.... and all i could do was reset my ps3....

i have not played it yet but there is a thread on here saying that its having issues with freezing but this will prob be fixed soon.

is it just me or has anyone else noticed that htis is liek the 8th post with ?'s about a game that game out not to long ago at all whats so confusing about it

Hopefully, the problems will be fixed soon. Rainbow Six Vegas has been having problems since it was first released. It's been about 2 months!

the game has problems with freezing, full game rooms, games crashing, stats erasing and for me the game crashing because the server left. this is quite annoying. even with all these problems the game is awesome. i have a theory that the point totals the game gives u arnt just ur points but u got to add the bonus points and such to it. just an idea for y everyone ranks up so fast
