ugh My opinion only but I can't stand FIFA. I don't know why, every year my mate buys it and takes it back a week later, PES just feels more......right better game play etc. Ok so it doesn't always have the licences but I think gameplay more than outways that fact.

Gonna get both. FIFA is out a month b4 PES, so I will at least have it for that time to fill the gap, but I think this seasons FIFA will be a keeper as it does actually look good this time out! Last seasons effort on 360 was a massive step in the right direction IMO. It was a diff game to the other versions released, and thats what they have built the new version on for PS3 & 360.

Oh yeah, I agree 100% that PES it top of the pile, but I meant that FIFA is becoming a very close 2nd, and a good game to play for bit of a change. Its nice to have options, for a change we may have two good footy games!

Well, after playing the PES2008 and FIFA 08 demo's, I can state that I will be buying both games, but PES kicks ass, big time. I think it has pulled away from FIFA again, its simply fantastic this time around, I can wait.

I've played the fifa demo and i'm not that impressed with it, so on the strength of that i've pre-ordered pro evo

OK so I said I wasn't that impress with the demo but I've still gone out and got it 
To be fair it's ok, nothing special. Folks who are saying it's excellent are in my opinion hyping it up some what.
Bring on Pro Evo 8....just hope it's worth the bloody wait
