Unreal tournament 3
we might not be getting halo, but this game looks like a surefire gem. im 90% getting it, what about u guys?

Unreal Tournament 3 is not PlayStation 3 exclusive but we PS3 users do indeed get it first. Xbox 360's version will not be released until 2008. For what reasons I do not know but I have a feeling they're going to try to improve that version.
P.S. For those of whom prefer mouse and keyboard configuration with your games, this is the first title that enables that feature.

I'm 110% getting it. In fact I've got it on pre-order at Amazon UK. Big fan of UT. I've been there since the beginning and every now and again I still play the big daddy that is UT 2004 on the PC.

Yes Cell you're quite right. In fact I will probably get myself a wireless keyboard/mouse combo just for this game. Any ideas on what to get? |

oh i am defo getting this. looks awesome and it has single player..for those with the lack of online play. i also have many 'must have' games on my list but no way is there 17..haze, AC, skate, this.., jerico, COD4, fifa08 and Svr08.

Yeah I'd forgotten about that. Kudos to Epic for having the foresight to realise that not everyone is online and so they've also included a fairly comprehensive single player mode too. Of course this means there's absolutely no reason for anyone not to own this game now  |

I can't recommend UT enough. If it plays as well as its PC 2004 iteration then it'll be one of the best multiplayer experiences you're likely to have until....well, the next UT lol. |

A Logitech G7 is the best option for a wireless mouse. Battery time for wireless mice is quite low though so if you can go for wired then I recommend doing so and getting a Logitech MX518. I have one and it's brilliant. Keyboards are all fairly similar and it's unlikely PS3 will offer full support for some of the more advanced ones that have their own LCD display and shit. It's really all down to which one fits into your desired price range and which you like the look of most.
I personally will be getting this on PC rather than PS3....even though it will be funny to own all the controller users and keyboard and mouse noobs with my 1337 fps skillz. |

I was originally going to get this for my PC too but I have a feeling it may struggle without a considerable upgrade. Also my PS3 is just screaming for a new game lol |

I'm getting a DX10 gfx card and a Core2Duo in January so I should be sorted when this comes out. |

to everyone who has never played a ut game your in for a treat, i have never played a better online fps than ut. that being said i have to get it on ps3 since my pc is a big pile crap.

If you don't mind me asking, how much is this gonna set you back? Also, what gfx card are you planning on getting? I'm just wondering if it may be worth getting it for my PC after all. It's how the game was intended to be played. | |
