..looks like it is another shitty 360 port, runs much smoother on the 360

yep it runs alot smoother on the 360, bt the ps3 version has slightly better graphics

games usually get delayed on the ps3 anyway so releasing the ps3 version at the sametime as the 360 version was gonna have problems. nevertheless they will be releasing a patch to fix these problems nxt month.
damn sony for going 5 steps further than developers and leaving developers hanging. bt all will be different in 2008, have faith brother

Well, yesterday I owned both PS3 & 360 versons, and the 360 IS better from a frame rate point of view AND graphics! I have my 360 through VGA on my TV and its better on the player models than PS3 via HDMI, much like FIFA looked more crisp on 360! PES 2008 is a better game on 360 and it runs better too! I got bothso I could pick the better version, I have done that now from an unbias slant too b4 you PS3 heads start to winge again!

The ps3 pes 2008 should have been delayed,its an absolute piss take to release it with these framerate issues,the game even has a serious ripple effect on screen during gameplay.I have a bought the 360 ver today and i hate to say it but its a much better version.I've heard theres a patch coming to resovle these issues but im not holding my breath for it,perhaps the North American and Japanese versions will have had this sorted by release date if not i will trade in for COD 4

Well it aint great to be fair but with all the problems it's still better than FIFA.

Agree with Doog's comments,but you gotta point the finger at Sony I think. This game aint finished, this is obvious.

Microsoft must be pissing their pants with glee at this effort.

I can see from Sony's point of view why I think they have given Konami the hurry up. With Xmas coming up they want to be seen with as many titles out as poss.

I had an online match up earlier and it was so buggy it was unplayable.

ffs, I scored a goal and the ref awarded me a corner......LMFAO!!!!

Why point the finger at Sony? They didn't develop it or publish it. If you want to blame anyone blame the incompetent coders at Konami. The game is clearly not finished and should never have been released. Sony simply cannot be blamed for every shit release the PS3 gets. It's not as if the PS3 isn't capable. In the right hands the PS3 is capable of much - Ratchet and Clank is testament to this.

But as I said and as you've repeated the game aint finished. Personally I think the coders needed more time, this is obvious....the game aint finished.

We all know the PS3 is a bitch for coders to develope games for and more time is needed until the true greatness is unlocked.

It is my opinion that Sony have put the pressure on because of many game delays.

Pro Evo is a Stella title and for the XBOX to get a release before the PS3 would be a body blow this near to Xmas.

Just my opinion m8ty. Not saying it's right or wrong, just my opinion.

dnt think it matters. despite this little glitch, which will get fixed by the way, the ps3 is still a much better console

I do agree with you mate and I can see your point. All I was trying to say is that Sony cannot be blamed for every sub-standard multi-plat release. Though I do think they should take a more active role in ensuring that these games are not below par and work more closely with developers as it could really hurt the rep of both Sony and the PS3 and it definitely deserves much better than this.

I'm just trying to look at it from another slant thats all.

I think we can all agree that this game is far from complete. If you go into the network option the first message that greets you is "We are aware of issues blah, blah, blah, we are working on ways to fix this blah, blah, blah, sorry for the inconvience"

Now that just about sums it up for me!!! This game was released with that message already programmed in....lmao!!!! I think that speaks volumes and thatswhy I came to this conclusion. Then again maybe I totally wrong....lol, wont be the first time.

One thing I will say in it's defence is no matter how buggy it is,it's still loads better than FIFA.

Well, im just waiting for the exclusives on PS3 and games that are not out on 360, coz 360 online is 100 times better than PSN, coz no bugger talks, its boring! Yep, PS3 is a better console, but its only as good as the games out on it, and at the minute, the 360 is the better games system! I love my PS3 and am frustrated that its not pulling its weight with multi platform games! Give me Uncharted and Ratchet & Clank and I will be happier!
