Guitar Hero 3
So, did anyone get GH3 for PS3?
Friend of mine got it and its awesome. I plan on getting it asap.

Well rock band seemed cool and all but its like $250 to get everything and imo having to sing would be gay.

I was the first person to buy GH3 from WalMart...they started to argue with me saying that it didn't come out on PS3...I guess that is what I get for going to WalMart.
Anyway the game is awesome. There are alot more songs on it that I actually loved listening to before the game. Disturbed, Slipknot, Matchbook Romance, Killswitch Engage, etc. The timing is very different than GH2 though. I was playing Ex. Hyperspeed on GH2, and then on GH3 I had to drop down to Medium to get used to the timing. I don't know if the wireless guitar causes that or if they actually changed something in the game. I have 10 songs left on Hard and I cannot get more than 20% on "Before I Forget"

This comes out on Wednesday in Australia. So i will go and pick it up after work. Now its just a matter of 360 or PS3. I was gonna go with the ps3 as i dont play it much anymore so i might as well buy something to use on it, but a few people have said that the 360 atm has a better downloadable content on the way so that might change my mind for which one i will pick up.

I know what you mean about it being different then GH2. My friend up the street got the game for PS3 and we used to play GH2 on expert all the time, we are now stuck on hard. Although we were able to beat Before I forget, (actually I beat that one, its all about the into, get the hang of that and your good) but yeah, Raining Blood and One in the last set are a bitch. We get like 40% through Raining Blood and 94% through One. Overall though, its still a badass game.
Have you seen Dragonforce "Through the Fire and Flames" on expert yet, its crazy :P
And too the other people about the downloads, well I would think both the 360 and the PS3 would end up having the same downloadable songs, since both systems will have downloadable songs. (pointed that out beause the Wii version doesn't have downloadable songs)

About TtFaF...When I beat it on Medium there were about 5 points in the song that I just stopped playing because my forearm was on fire.
Also I am having trouble linking my guitarhero.com account. I have triple checked the code and it is correct. But it keeps telling me that it can't find it.
And how do you download extra songs? I can't figure that out either.

As far as i know, there are no downloadable songs out yet. As for linking your account, i have no idea, my friend was able to link his account fine.

Well how do you play "Monsters" by Matchbook Romance? There are scores on the leaderboard, and I have purchased all the bonus songs.

I have come to find out that there are extra songs to unlock via co-op mode. I know no one else with GH3 on PS3 so I am pissed...

Oh right, I remember that now. What I was gonna do is I was gonna just play Co-op by myself. Grab a controller and set it as player 2, have it on Easy difficulty. Play whatever difficulty you want. If you have a long pause or something grab the controller and play until you need to play again. Just make sure you have to play the biggest part of the song and you should be able to pass. At least thats what I would think.
