Player/kit file update for for Pro Evo
Has anyone got one installed?
There's a few peeps on ebay selling them, just wondered if anybody has purchased one and if so are they anygood?

Yes it's ok, not bad apart from the frame rate issues (see the other pro evo thread). It's heaps better than that bag of bile called FIFA 08.
Just downloaded an option file from off the net and got it installed on my Pro Duo Memory stick.
I'll install it onto my PS3 later. I'll report back when it's done.

OK, got it all installed now  thats the good news.
There is a downside though which I've only just found out. For some reason you can only edit up 8 teams and thats it 
All the teams have their correct names eg, London F.C is now Chelsea and West Midlands Village (lol) is now Birmingham City....or is it Villa.
The Football crests/badges have remained the same though.
The other leagues have also got there correct names eg, Barclays Premier League, Ligue 1 (France) La Liga (Spain), Serie A (Italy), Eredivisie (Dutch).
No Bundesliga (German) though.
All the other leagues are made up of the top teams from around europe.
Ok, so you'll want to know which of the English teams have had their kits edited.
Arsenal - Home and Away
Man Utd - Home and Away
Chelsea - Home and Away
Liverpool - Home and Away
Blackburn Rovers - Home
Man City - Home
Aston Villa - Home
West Ham Utd - Home
As you can see the 'BIG 4' have had both home and away kits edited, the rest, just the home kits.
Because the game only allows you to choose 8 (which is really shit!!!) You have to decide for yourself.
I really do hope that they'll find a way to alter this cos it's a pain in the arse especially the crests/badges remaining the same
Anyone wanting the file, leave me your email and I'll send it to you.
Please be aware you'll need something like a USB flash drive to transfer the the files over to your PS3 from your PC.
I transfered the files onto a Sony Pro Duo 4gb card via my PSP and it worked a treat.

Basically you need a device and a SD or Pro Duo memory card that'll connect to you pc so that you transfer the files onto them. Then all you need to do is take the memory card out and pop it into your PS3.
Have you got a PSP? you could probably do it with a digital camera or even a mobile phone????? just a suggestion.

I agree how shit it is they've taken loads of options away, like only having 8 teams and no home and away games...the whole thing smacks of a bit of a piss take, which is unlike PES. When you consider the framerate issues as well they are going to have some bad PR coming thier way, which they wont be used to!

Mate is alrite if i get a shot at those updates please. bradburymeister@gmail.com I still think that pro evo is the best footy game ever, i bought fifa 08 because i was bored but still has nothing on the mighty pro evo. Haven't played fifa since ive had pro evo dont see the point.

Also i have downloaded tubes from soccer am web page he has just taken rooneys place. Looks like him quite alot same sort of thing need your memory stick and then save it to your PS3
