Getting CoD 4?
I've done it. Couldn't help it, the pull was too strong. For ages now I've resisted the lure of this game but I just couldn't stay strong any longer.

I've just Pre-ordered Call of Duty 4. Not being a fan of the series I've kept my eye on this one but never really been interested, but having watched numerous gameplay videos and seeing how highly it's been scoring in reviews, coupled with the fact that I've completed Jericho I wanted another FPS to keep me occupied for a while. This game does look truly amazing but what I really want to know is, how many of you lot are getting it?

Same here. I've only briefly played Cod games in the past so I expect to be pretty poor at it but I'm really looking forward to getting into the multiplayer mode and getting my ass kicked from every angle.



EDIT: I preordered from Amazon. I've had a few bad experiences with GAME and Gamestation so I only shop online from either Amazon or Play now.

i read a review, it got a 9 (gamesradar) however there were quite a few negative points made about the single player mode, but not enough to ruin it.

u dnt really need ne experience. This game is different frm the previous ones. Numba 3 wasnt that good bt all the other 1 were awesome

I wasn't a fan of the series either. The only other CoD I have is Call Of Duty 2 The Big Red One for PS2. Actually, it was the first online console game I've ever played! Later on today, I'm going to pick it up! I'll be looking foward to seeing you guys. Oh yea, you know how we have a PS3chat.com Warhawk clan? I'm thinkning of making one for CoD4...

Yea, CoD4 looks good, I'll be sticking to it for a long time that's why I'm thinking of a clan. I've been the leader of many clans and it's hard work but if you guys are willing to join, I'll make it. I will make another thread about discussing the clan name sometime later. I don't want the name of it to be PS3chat.com but one of the requirements will be to register here Oh how I wish there were mods on these forums...

I will be getting this game for sure.....online will be great.....And I want in on the clan.....this was done for warhawk, but so far in warhawk i'm a part of a clan that has done nothing.....its been a bummer......
