Burnout Paradise City demo
Well, i would just like to say i have played the demo and it kicks ass. You can actually play online in the demo version and its really, really fun. i have never been a big fan of Burnout, but its actually very impressive. Finally EA have made a decent game.

lots of connection problems for me. kicked off as soon as i entered games. i for one was underwhelmed with the large and huge city. i liked the old burnout games more and the streamlined experience. i guess i liked how that game was linear

Don't mind the new format, but I agree I liked the old linear race by race format. The sound of the engines is brilliant and the graphics are decent.
Same annoyances remain though...slow motion crashes, which look nice, but wish you could fast forward through and the annoyingly "helpful" Crash FM. I do reckon I need a bigger TV as well, travelling at high speed in the game on a 28" widescreen SDTV means collisions happen all too often

well, i love this demo. the real game is gonna rock, and one thing i wish they had was a car customization thing. that would make this game better than perfect. lol. i bet it's gonna be the #1 racing game when it comes out

obviously midnight club will be better, in burnout all you do is crash for fun it gets boring quick, plus theres no customization and bikes so after a few events and u unlock the vehicles thats it really, midnight club theres customization of all sorts, bikes, and real vehicles plus vehicle damage. plus wtf no drivers in burnout paradise pathetic.

Yeah will be interested to see what Midnight club will be like.
But so far if your connections right and you find some one who wants to race round the streets after you or you after them theirs nothing better. I havnt really experienced a online game yet where you can do that. its a bit like gta online with out the killing. Very impressed, they just need to get them servers sorted out. Keeps telling me its my firewall but im not so sure it is. I disabled it ages ago to rule out problems like this.
Mikey my user is mrmack. Look forward to having a race round with you!
