I was wondering if the ps3 version of oblivion still has the same fighting style where it takes like 10 seconds to perform an attack or is it faster now?

you hit the button and it swings your weapon, one swing takes 3 seconds top.

nice! because i was playing this game on my friends computer and it took such a long time to make an attack.

depends on if you like rpg's from the states basically you make your char then they let u lose in the world to do almost anything you want to do. if you want a deep story driven rpg i would look elsewhere but yes i would say pick it up or the very least rent it. trust me this game will keep you busy for a long time if you get into it.

definitly suggest geting the gameguide if u get it its so huge and theres so many things to do i put in over 70hours of gameplay

i spent 3 months playing it i think i'm around 85% complete but the guide is a must.

where can u get the guide from because this game is so hard i always die i am stuck on the bit where u have to rescue martin do i have to go into oblivion for that bit or not please help i need help.

for people who've got all year, this game is ideal. i took it back after about a week because i could see it was going to take me forever and a day to complete. i wish i did have more time on my hands though cos would have loved to have got into it properly.

I sold my copy in an attempt to get the Game of the Year edition with Shivering Isles on it... gutted now, cos it's sold out everywhere, par HMV and that place is expensive unless it's in a sale, which is VERY unlikely. So I am screwed cos was hoping to play Shivering Isles.

i feel your pain while i didn't sell my copy i was going to pick up SI by itself i get up to the counter with the display case, dude rings it up then all hell bracks loose he can't find it anywhere and there computer said they had 2 copy left, i waited like 20 minutes while went though everything trying to find it only for him tell me sorry they don't have it.

u can go to gamefaqs.com or go to gamestop i call it the obilivion bible cuz its so huge and tells u everything

can someone tell me how to play this game obvioulsy i know the butons but it takes ages to kill 1 scamp and if i do kill it i have to use all my magicka to get my health bak how can i kill them easier because when there is two of them it is almost impossible for me i dnt think its me i just think there is an easier way to kill them than i am trying.

Check your difficulty settings
You're either a really low level or your difficulty is cranked too high

You aren't actually screwed on the Shivering Isles package. I saw at a few stores that Shivering Isles was sold for the PS3 separately, like it was its own game. As for whoever said that they aren't sure whether to buy it, I recommend getting it. It's hands down one of the best games I've played in quite awhile.
