Personally I prefer online play, always have done.

Don't get me wrong I do like playing single player mode and can't wait until GT5 comes (just ordered it from Hong kong).

But I think some games come into their own when you take them online.

Take COD4 for example. One major gripe about this game is the single player game is too sort, and to be fair is.

But when you play it online it's like another game (2 games in one if you like).

So, are you online or offline?

offline mainly just because i'm heavy into rpg's and action/adventure games. but i do like playing online but so far it's all fps and racing games.

to be honest it depends how I feel lol. I would say online though because it can be unexpected gameplay

Obviously online... Beating a computer just doesn't compare.

You can't beat a good single player game. Take R&C for instance, I bought it the same day as COD 4 and it gets far more play than COD ever has. Once I'd finished with the single player campaign on COD (which was amazing while it lasted) I dabbled in the online a couple of times then went back to R&C. Though the exception to this rule has to be MotorStorm. I know a lot of people have got fed up of this game now but I still enjoy it online, in fact it's a lot better than playing it offline.

WipEout Pulse on my PSP has got a great online mode but even that is nothing compared to the brilliant single player game. The only game I prefer playing online is Worms Open Warfare 2.

some games are the best offline and crap online but it cn b other way around.

COD4 and MOH Airborne are too sort on single player mode so i get most of my fun from them 2 games off online play its awesome

i only really but games that have an online mode

gives me something to do when iv finished the capaign

but picking between online and offline..

..id say both

I like campaign and story line... online most of the time gets boring, the only thing you have to do is to kill??? But yeah i like also online and offline play...

i do like both online and offline as there are games that i like, cod4, unreal tournament 3 for online and uncharted for offline, although teaming up with ur mates and owning other teams is great fun

I agree with him. For games like oh say Madden, then online PWNS. But for some games like Guitar Hero 3 or even Rock Band, Offline goes better. It just depends on the type of game, and the urge to beat someone lol
