Eye Of Judgment

Got it for christmas. Love it. Anyone else got this?
If so leave me your PSN ID's and I'll add you to my list once I've finished clearing it up. It's full so I need to get rid of a few friends that are either never online or don't talk.

^ I bet your parents are pissed off now because Eye of Judgment is £39.99 in the Game sale.

Haha.

Anyway, I doubt I will get this game.

GAME? Wouldn't give that monopolising, Xbox 360 biased company my hard earned money and since Gamestation sold out to them I won't buy from there either. Play.com and Amazon only for me, at least they're impartial.

You're missing out if you don't get EoJ you know. It's very underrated and underappreciated. I absolutely love it.

Haha, I always go to GAME. I just went to the website to order a White PSP with 3 games and a 2GB memory stick, BUT my order got cancelled. Hmm.

I don't know whether to get EoJ or not.

I suppose I may as well get it before it's bumped back up to £70.

But I would rather the PSP!

Lol the PSP is the better prospect I would say but if you do have the chance to play EoJ at any time I would highly recommend you give it a go. It's not your usual videogame and the amount of people that play it online really surprised me. Even though few people seem to own it, it's actually very popular. There's always plenty of games going on online. I've already started spending on it. I've bought a couple of theme decks and 5 booster packs. I'm now trying to build my own world beating deck from scratch!

Oh btw it's £53.96 on Amazon. Still not as good as £39.99 but not bad

Cheers for the link

But I just ordered a PSP, Final Fantasy Tactics and a 2GB memory stick from Play.com.

(hopefully that won't get cancelled! I bet it's my stupid bank)

Anyways, EoJ will have to wait until after Burnout xD

Oh yes, Burnout. Now then, I'm in two minds here. I've got £40 in Gamestation vouchers (yes, I know what you're thinking, but I didn't buy them lol), it's a toss up between Burnout and UT 3. What do you think? I'm a huge fan of Unreal Tournament and Burnout. Obviously Burnout's out first but I doubt I'll be able to afford UT 3 when it comes out if I use the vouchers on Burnout because my and my gf are looking at getting a house so money will be pretty tight. What do you think?

Do we even know when UT3 will be released in the UK? Erm, well if you are a UT fan then you might as well wait until it's released. As for Burnout, just carry on playing the demo!

For me, Burnout would definately come first though, as I am not really a fan of FPS games.

Sorry I'm not very good at this lol.

I believe UT 3 is due out some time in March but I'm not 100% sure. I don't know what to do

I think CoD 4 is going to have to be traded to ease the financial burden. I needs both lol.

EDIT: Please peeps, buy Eye of Judgment. It's a great game and deserves recognition for daring to be different.

I have EoJ and I really like it, but, the online play sucks big time, unlike standard 1 on 1 play over a table or against the ps3, you cannot shuffle the deck and pick cards at random, the ps3 tells you which cards you have, so, how on earth do you look through your deck, find the correct cards then get ready for the round all in about 10-15 seconds, it's daft.

I know it is a way of stopping cheating, but, it detracts from having a fun game.

Exactly as you say it's to stop cheating.
It's only the same as randomly choosing the cards yourself but it eliminates the possibility of people rifling through their decks and choosing their most powerful cards. As far as I'm concerned it works perfectly and doesn't make the game any less fun. As I said it's as random as if you were taking drawing the cards for yourself, no different at all and games are just as fun as if you were playing someone in the same room as you.
If you want to get yourself ready quicker at the start of an online game do like I do, organise your cards into separate elements, that way you can get ready quicker and still have time to mulligan if you want to.

I tried organising the cards and laid them out in front of me, but, only got a few seconds to grab the right cards, not long enough, if only it gave you longer to pick up the cards that it tells you that you have drawn.

Alternatively, if you could press a button to display your hand on screen so you could pick the cards at any time, still wouldn't be able to cheat but would have the chance to get sorted.

When it asks you to draw your cards at the beginning of the duel it does show you on screen what cards you have. If you scroll along them it gives you a bit of info about each card and if they're good then just press start. Once the duel begins you've then got more time to pick your hand.

Yes, it shows you on screen, but, only for about 10 seconds, then it dissapears and your left wondering which cards your supposed to pick up, and if your not fast enough your stuck with a hand of 1 or 2 cards and no idea which other cards to pick up.

Unless there is a way to see your hand in game and on screen, your pretty much in the dark.
