Hey all..new to the PS3. My son and I each have our own players saved under our own log ins. When we play on his log in, is there anyway to get my data to his log in?? Thanks!!

Get a memory stick or memory (SD) card or something - copy your tw 08 save file from xmb in your log in onto it. Load up your son's profile and then copy it from the memory stick onto his proile - or I think you can just load it straight into tiger woods from the memory stick.

hey bud 28. I tried both ways with no luck. if i try to copy it it reads " saved data with this filename already exists". if i try to load it from the game it does not have the memory stick as an option.

OK, Figured it out. Here is what you do to save or transfer any game profile to a different User. Very Easy. Whithin Game Menu, Go up or down to select - Saved data Utility-by pressing X-select profile- once it's blinking- press triangle-select copy-select Destination-the other profile to copy it to-(No Memory Stick required,Although you can save it to a memory stick as well to take to a friends) Say the profile you want resides in User David but you want it to be present in Kathy. Log on in David and then Choose Kathy as the destination to copy it to. Once that is done log in in Kathy. start TW08-press L3 for profile management, Choose slot available- Select Load-then select the profile.

bodhi61...tried it...but when i select my sons login as the destination, it says "the data cannot be saved. there is saved data with the same name at the save destination."

Alright, The data is available in your son's login. Here is what you do now. Log in under your son. Start Tiger Woods.(just press L-3 or) Go to- "My Tiger" direction right to-"User Profile Option". Direction right to-"Profile Management"-Press "X" At this point you should see your profile and if it is the only one... You should see 3 empty boxes that say-"Slot Available". Choose one and- Press "X". You should see: Create New, Load, and Cancel. Highlight "Load" Press "X" Your profile should now be available for selection. Choose it and press"X"

Should be good to go

Hey bodhi61, my data isnt there. the only one to choose from is austin's. Let's say I create a user named "Guest"...it will let me transfer my data to "guest"...but when I try to transfer Austin's data to "guest" it gives me that message listed above......

It's giving you that message because it has already been copied there. You will never see it there until you start Tiger Woods 2008. Press L3 and select an empty slot. Only after selecting load will you ever be able to see the data. Do not use a memory card at all to do this process. Explain the steps you have done completely with names for PS3 login and Tiger woods profiles. Only then can I tell what you are doing wrong.

Have you put your own faces in (photos of your self)? I'm wondering if this has anything to do with it.

pagey7878, yes I have all our real faces. Read the directions I gave. Print them out and go step by step. Works every time.

I have found the problem just don't know how to get around it.
Whe you save a golfer in, lets say, user X profile it saves the file with "01" at the end. When yo save the next golfer it saves the file with "02" at the end and so on.
If you then cange user to, lets say, user y profile and save golfers it will repeat the above proccess which means the golfers saved in user X has the same file name as in user Y.
I have tried to change the last two digits of the file name on a p.c and loading it back into tiger woods but no joy.
There must be a way around this. Can anyone help?

The part your missing is logging in. When I say logging in, it means logging in under ps3. It has nothing to do with Tiger. Then go to Tiger and follow instruction I gave. You will not be changing file names. It is very confusing I know.
