I was wondering what would be the best buy. I don't really care how old the game is. I know CoD4 is FPS, but I've never played a FPS before, so will this game be really hard or is there some kind of aiming assist to get me started?

Well, CoD4 is amazing. As for NFS, racing games are fun but meh, in my opinion they get old pretty quick. Although, since you have never played a FPS I don't know if you would like it or not. Most people do like FPS's but there are some that don't. So, I don't know, if i was you, I would probably go play a FPS somewhere and see if I like it. Actually, you can try Call of Duty 4 on the PC. Theres a single player demo. You can get it here http://files.filefront.com/Call+of+D.../fileinfo.html.
I suggest at least trying the single player demo for the PC before you consider purchases a FPS, since you haven't played one.

I have never had a Ps before and the only games I have had were PC. The Call of Duty was the pc game.

I didn't know what a FPS was !

The COD4 online is the best place to learn how to work it in my opinion. At first you'll think your never gonna get good

then you;ll start doing some wild stuff and it'll

work out !!!
Cod4 also starts you out a FNG !! (F'ing New Guy !)

And it teaches you the way to do the basics.

I love it ! I'm almost up to 55 which is as far as you can go before a different kind of scoring

Oh, I dunno, you say you have Warhawk, Assassins Creed, etc. You'd do fine at FPS in COD4. If your lookin for a good FPS you couldnt do much better than cod4... just be prepared to get owned (online) by the FPS freaks for awhile. As you rank up, you get better waepons, perks, etc so youll get better as you go.

Think about it though, if your good at racing games then the fine tune movements your used to at high speed steering will translate well eventually at aiming quickly at enemies in cod once you make the adjustments.

Branch out dude. Try something new (fps). Ya might like it!!!

COD 4 mate. Best game out there at the moment. I use to hate FPS, Resistance was the game that got me into it. Its hard at first but once you get use to the contols of a FPS its great.

Definetly Call of Duty 4.
