A few games were shown to the press but one game is Extreamly High Classified game due to ps3 in 2009, sony showed a trailor at a confrence.

"Here's what I was shown:

Motorstorm 2 is due out in time for Christmas and moves the action away from the desert locale of the original. Gamers will be able to race around a lush island environment, full of interactive vegetation.

The game will feature four-player split-screen action, righting one of the obvious failings of the first game.

The title is some months away from completion but the game's engine looked rock solid and the graphics were as impressive as one would expect from one of the best-looking racing franchises.

Resistance Fall of Man was a bit of a disappointment when it was released. The game promised much but suffered from a lack of originality and flat game design. The world the designers had created was interesting but playing in it felt dull.

So what will Resistance 2 offer? I was shown only a trailer but it's clear developers Insomniac want to make a statement. Online the game will host 60 players simultaneously. It screams epic and tellingly it concludes with the line: "You haven't seen what we are truly capable of."

So what else was I shown? Well, I was shown a trailer for a game not due out till 2009 but was sworn to absolute secrecy. Apparently, Sony just wanted to give a glimpse of what the console will be capable of.

In fact, the game is such a secret that when I mentioned the game to Phil Harrison last week he was unsure at first whether even to admit the title existed. When I explained I had been shown it under strict Non Disclosure Agreement terms he looked relieved.

I don't mean to be a tease - all I can say is that I was left speechless. If the footage I was shown truly is "in game", as told to me by the Sony PR people, then we could be on the brink of a step change in what games consoles are capable of in terms of story-telling and immersion."

Guesses are heavy rain but i dont have a clue my self... other websites said moer along the lines of, this game is going to show what the ps3 is capable of and its nothing visualy like the games availble today. Is this going to push the ps3 ? is there where ps3 pulls away? The sony exects look very excited like they can see domination in sight.... we wont know till that time.

I wont get excited until i see it. Iv heard all this before.

but you are aware what the ps3 is capable of ? because i kinda can imagine but thought it would have happened thsi year maybe end of this year still we will start to see. All sony wanted to do is demonstrate a real time game that was pushing the conson. Several reports say the same thing pritty much so seems kinda reliable unless sony showed a video instead of realtime game..

Exactly, when they actually deliver, on time, then I'll care. Too much awesome stuff "in the future" or "what could be" they need to give us something now.

This has been posted, but that guy seemed overwhelmed. Must be truly epic. No doubting the ps3 has the potential, we'll have to see.

Yes mate i am aware of what the PS3 is capable of. Thats all i hear about it. I want to see it, not hear about what it can do, thats suppose to be so amazing. And as for showing video instead of realtime game that happens all the time. Companys alway say the video is in game but when we get the final product its not. Some games do come close like killzone 2 but they dont get to what was original said. Hopefully it is great but like i said i wont get my hopes up untill i see it. Iv fallen for that before.

The graphics in movies are way better then ones in games.
Maybe that well change, Maybe soon.

well put it like this when you buy a gaming pc you buy it to be able to play all present games.. and to really excel in the future when graphics get taking up a notch... maybe gta4 and GT5 will be the start of that. end of this year i saw that there is supose to be games to take the ps3 futher...

This secret game is supose to take it futhre still because we all know what te next games are gonna look like "Frigging Awsum". well this apprently should be alot better... not the limit of the ps3 but prob half way there.

Compare the first ps3 games with say burnout or unreal.... it has already accelerated.

What makes me confident that it might very well be true is that the time for release they gave .... 2009 that was gonna be a intresting year anyway. present games are only just starting to use most of the cores and the six axis. So i would think that they would be able to take full advantage of the ps3 by the end of this year that makes sence... if the release date is end of 2009 it seems to all add up to me. That means this game (Top secret) will be using all cores (except os core) and using chip and ram and storage capabilitys with the hard drive to its full potential. So why wouldnt it be great if it had all of those ? the script may be rubbish and be a awful game but it might very well look outstanding and be a benchmark for all other games after.

Ps3 used to its potential = Games on a totaly diffrent level
