supposedly both the 360 and ps3 versions are very close but the 360 is about a week ahead but i have heard mixed rumors. first i hear the framerate for both is solid and the same at 30 fps and then i hear load times and framerates are better on 360. do u guys really care if ps3 isnt as good by a little bit, i just find myself wanting the game to be the same all around like cod4

They will be identical as possible. Very different hardware is used so they're going to be minor differences. The 360 is supposed to have more vibrant colors and the ps3 has a warmer colour palette and less aliasing issues which is a good thing. Like you said the framerate for both is rock solid, but the ps3 being a week or so behind had a few graphical glitches and pop which is understandable. Both will look great. Example of aliasing.

Im getting in on the 360 anyway. So im not fussed if the ps3 version is behind. And it dosnt surprise me if it is.

360s version will come with x4AA. All 360 games have to have x4AA, its one of microsofts rules. If anything, the PS3 wont have aliasing, especially if it has HDR because it can't do both at the same time.

Either way, the 360 version will be better, and its the version I'm getting for one reason: DLC.

I heard, and it just a rumour like the 100 other ones. But its they reckon HOME will be coming out at the sametime as GTA and it will have some special GTA content avalible HOME, to maybe make the ps3 gamer not feel left out, seeing 360 is suppose to be having a far amount of DLC.

I was well up for home at one point, but they took too long to release it and didn't give us enough info and the hype just died.

yah dlc will be fun when ur paying through the nose for it. honestly its gonna be way too much for too little. and i can tell u that the next gta which is supposedly ps3 only, designed soley for blu ray will be more than enough

^I dont recall them making the next GTA PS3 only. I heard Rockstar was making a PS3 only game but it wasnt GTA. And with the amount of money Microsoft has i dought they would let that franchise slip though there fingers. Look how much they were willing to pay for exclusive DLC.

A magazine was apparently told that all future Rockstar titles will be ps3 exclusive, but i think there is a mix up somewhere. Like you said Rampage Rockstar are indeed making a ps3 exclusive game, plus L.A Noire which Rockstar are publishing. Who knows?

Yeah, I'm just passing on what EGM said in their preview. PS3 version appeared to have less aliasing issues.

Interesting. If true then that means GTA4 either doesn't have HDR or only has it on the 360 version. Like Assassins Creed, the only real difference was that the 360 version had the improved lighting.

Take Two aren't really in a position to go exclusive with anything right now. I imagine even L.A. Noir will end up as a timed exclusive.

How am i being negative?. Im just saying that what i heard was it wasnt GTA as a exclusive it was a whole new franchise, By Rockstar.

There virtually no news coming out about it, the number of threads I see about it has gone down, and I personally am no longer as hyped for it as I once was.

What was the difference between 360-COD4 and PS3-COD4? NOTHING

Just cause theres no news doesnt mean the hype has gone that just means there nothing new they want to tell us.
