Resident Evil
this Thread is dedicated to one of the creepyest game I think that I have ever laid eyes on. I can't play it in the dark. Capcom made this game pretty scary. Any thoughts on this game? I like it and all, but only with lots of friends around and the lights on. PS3 version is coming out too.

It wont be scary, RE4 is just a sellout and RE5 will be like it, RE4 wasnt scary, only had 1 scary part in the whole game. The true REs and the true RE fans are for the Resident Evil 1-3 and CV and thoes ones. Conserving ammo, massive puzzles, and running all the time. RE4 is basicly a shooter, its a great game, but I still don't consider it a true RE. And it comes out of no where. RE5 will be like it, it better have zombies, and it better have good puzzles, the puzzles on RE4 my 6 yr old half-retarded cousin could solve. The Wii one looks cool, Umbrella Chronicles, it showed the dining room in the mansion from RE1, then the door being busted down. Seems interesting. RE5 I just hope isnt a sell out like RE4.

I dunno... by the time CV and RE-Zero came out, the T-Virus/zombie theme had started to wear thin... And the stagnant camera angle thing needed to go. I like how Capcom kept the same basic idea (kill mindless enemies controlled by secret boss, and a dash of Wesker), but took it in a bit of a different direction.
I think RE5 might play like a game version of 28 Days, tho.

Yup this games is going to be good i know it loved RE4 it was great and i hope this games is going to be better

i loved re 1 and 2 nemesis was crap,and so were the rest up till 4 which was aweome,hopefully 5 wil stick to the same control and camera ( rumored to be similar )

i personally think they best game was resi 3, it had great visuals, wicked story and the ending was cool with the big nuke coming down on those mutha ****ers!
i can't wait til resi5 though! running zombies will be awesome....and if it's in a confined space then it will be so tense.

My favourite was the Resident Evil remake on Gamecube. Same game, better graphics, much creepier.

oh that was definetly a kick ass game but my fav is resident evil 4,i dunno why but i absolutly love that sort of camera angle,same view thats in gears of war,which ****ing rules to

Yes they were quite an improvement over the original. Resi 2 is still the best though but the Cube version was just shit, it was a direct port of the PS1 version and it had seriously shit low-res graphics. They should have remade it in the same way as they did with Resi 1 instead of getting lazy and just cashing in. |

£30!....insane! i got it for £10 when i had my PS1! lol owell...
anyway, i was looking at the gamecube version and omg! it looks like a next gen game lol...the graphics are greatly improved.

As far as the scariness goes, I don't know that you can get much creepier than Doom 3. Talk about freaking you out at 2 A.M. But anyways, I haven't played it, so I'm not too sure how it is, though I have seen the ending on G4 (tv station). I'd like to play it and I'm looking forward to 5.

lol ur kidding right, resident evil games are not that scary, but thats your experience with it, re5 looks really good though iam thinking of getting it too. |

yeah resi games aint THAT scary....they may make you jump occasionaly, but other than that you must have a heart of stone and take a 12 gauge and a AK n shoot them dead mutha ****ers!
