hi guys,

I've been playing Resistance for 2nd day now.
I could be wrong, but unlike COD4 that has a compass, Resistance doesnt.
Does Resistance as you go up the rankings have compass for navigating like COD4 eventually ?
So how does one know which directions, etc to go other than downloading the cheats or guides ?
This game is a bit harder than COD4 even on basic or easy mode.
A bit frustrating.

Also would like to know how to change guns. I understand there are lots of guns avail of this game but it seems i only have 1 gun to use so far which is the carbine. I'm now on level 5.

Ypur right mate,it is alot harder but its also more rewarding in some ways.if memory serves me correctly u dont get a compass but u dont really need it.the level are not as big as cod4 so u got less chance of getting lost.great game tho.
by the way to change weapons mid-game u just hold down R2 and select any of them that u have picked up.happy hunting.

yes, its a challenging game, more so than COD4.
I think there are just so much more levels and the enemies are harder to kill than COD4.
So far i'm doing ok, just trying to complete one to 2 levels a night.
It can get frustrating.

I know there is a map online... i totally forget about single player though. Oh ya and if you want to quick swap you gun just tap R2 and it will swich to what ever gun is set to the 2nd slot.

How long did you guys take to finish Resistance: FOM ?
I'm running almost two weeks, 2 hours a night and i'm still in level 14.
Its frustrating!!

for me ,it took about 3 to 4 weeks playing on and off.

If you don't close the cut scenes you would know.
