Hi guys

After downloading the MGS4 online beta last night and installing it, then downloading the update and installing that i find out that i need a Konami ID and Game ID and need to get it off the Konami ID website. After trying till like 2am last night just to be met with sorry the service was busy I've been trying all morning trying to get in on my PS3, my PC and my internet smartphone and I cant get in to this website to get this ID thing argh lol. Why cant they just use the PSN network login and ID like every other PS3 game.

So I put it to all of you...

HAS ANYONE ACTUALLY STARTED PLAYING THE BETA YET?

EDIT: maybe your all there now and I'm the only one left behind lol

Nope cant play it yet as i cant get a ID. The site has crashed. How dumb is Konami. Why the F, would you make a stupid thing were you got to get these ID's. They must know that this game is gonna be a massive draw card. Of course this type of thing is gonna cause the site to crash. Bloody idiots.

Its so annoying, why do they have to be different, the whole point of a psn ID is that its one unified system and you don't have to bother registering with 100 different logons for all your games.

Iv given up on trying mate. I pretty much never play my ps3. But with this beta, i thought finally something for me to play. But then bang this stupid id crap has put that to a halt. Im just gonna go back to my good old 360.

I have my ID woo lol, heres how go here and follow the instructions about a macro then just keep running it untill u have an ID

Seems Konami has shut down access to the online beta for EU and US users, i guess once they've managed to stabilise everything and add more capacity they'll open it all back up.

Thankfully they're going to extend the beta to May 11th.

3) Beta Test closure: This will now be on 11/05/2008 at 24:00(CEST) rather than 06/05/2008 at 24:00(CEST)

25th, beta means we better get used to this crap happening.
