hi all

new here so i would like to say hello. my question is ive brought COD4 and would like to know if there is a way to see what games you can join like in ressistance rather than being dropped in to a random game.

thanks for clearing that up, was just wandering cause i like the way ressistance online works. oh well random games it is then.

Resistance online is streets ahead of any of the other games on the PS3. The COD4 online is just random all right which is crap really.

Yeah, one of the few things the SOCOM series got right was the way they set the servers up. And the way that when the host leaves it gets passed on and doesnt shut down the whole room

Host migration is need in COD4. COD4 has a half assed one. Oh and get this. The reason why the server is messed up is because they didn't expect so much traffic foe the PS3 version. I find that stupid. But COD4 4 is still a great game, unlock guns and attachments, rank up and many game modes to choose from. Also single player is insane. As for "random" drop in's, its not a problem. You choose a game and go in it.

Yeah, it would be better if they had two options, the system they have now, and another one where people can create their own rooms in a way that other people can join them.

I have Call of Duty 4,I found it better than Resistance for all of two hours or so and then i completed the singly player campaign.Online with CoD4 has been fun yes,but i greatly prefer Resistance,especially when a full blown 40 player game is in swing.

Resistance 2 is the future of Playstation3 online shooters,but the future of Playstation3 online is Little Big Planet and Home.

HAZE will be a good one for shooter fans,look out for it on the 23rd of May(Europe).20th of May for those of you in America).

I was wondering how to play the new maps i downloaded them 2day and i have no idea how to play at the new maps i was really intrested in doing broardcast based on the mission "charlie don't surf" i just wanna have a go at the new maps or can u only play with friends or invited people? please answer soon i rlly wana know

Well you missed double xp weekend(which lasted for a week) so you have to play them on the play list or in a private match. Everyone in HAZ clan got it so we play them a lot. China town my favorite
